better than chocolate

The leads are Maggie (Karyn Dwyer), a perky 19 year-old redhead, and Kim (Christina Cox), a slightly older blond. After a couple of chance meetings, they fall madly in love, and, unlike in the recent Trick, they hardly waste any time finding a place where they can have sex. Foreplay consists of nude bodypainting followed by a shower. They are briefly interrupted by the arrival of Maggie's mother, Lila (Wendy Crewson), and brother, Paul (Kevin Mundy), who are moving into the spacious apartment Maggie is subletting. But, after everyone has gone to bed, Maggie and Kim consummate their relationship - with a delighted Paul watching from an adjacent room.
after i finished watching all the tv series (Lword and south of nowhere), finally, i can start watching the films. better than chocolate is a classic... i mean, this is one of the films you should know... errr, lesbians should fucking know.
its a good movie. less than i expected though, hehehe... romantic, comedy, hella gay! i love the scene where kim and maggie are painting each other, soooo sexy! hmmmm, dyou wonder what is better than chocolate? actually, there's a lot. from the movie itself ---- loving a girl, being out, using dildos ---- are all fucking better than chocolate! hahahaha!
this is one of the reviews ive read from rottentomatoes: Of course if you wanted masculinity you'd just go see the new Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. The themes in "Better Than Chocolate" are not what make it worth missing. It's that the makers of gay-themed films often ignore this rule: Romantic comedy clichés don't become innovative just because the lovers are the same sex. What would make you roll your eyes in a movie with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan would make you roll your eyes in a movie with Tom Hanks and Antonio Banderas. ---- yeah, damn true.
